Corporate travel managers in North America are more concerned with cost savings and online booking tools than their Latin American counterparts, according to a study by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).

North American travel managers said cost was the most important facet of satisfaction with their travel management company (TMC), while technology was also a major driver.

Latin American travel professionals were more concerned about global services and the assurance of client safety and security.

Overall, 73% of North American travel managers were satisfied with their TMC, compared with 80% of Latin American travel managers.
